After a few days in Singapore, we traveled by land to Malaysia.  Our stay in Malaysia was nothing short of fascinating, including a first hand look at the Hindu religious festival of Thaipusam, a view of the Petronas Towers, the tallest buildings in the world, in Kuala Lumpur, and the cultural  Penang Island.  

It is only fitting that we return to Southeast Asia before returning home.  In December, 2000, almost one year after we first stepped foot in Malaysia, we were back.  We are happy that we did return, because this gave us an opportunity to visit the beautiful and majestic Cameron Highlands.
