During our journey around the world, we have been fortunate enough to return to the United States on a few separate occasions.  In November, we were in Phoenix for the wedding of our good friends, Doc and Lissa.  In late December, we returned to the States once more to celebrate Christmas and the Millennium with our families in Atlanta and Naples, Florida.   On our way to Asia, we stopped in San Francisco, one of the world's great cities for three days.  

Finally, we ended our journey on the United States interstates as we went on a USA road trip through the eastern states and then out west to Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, California, Colorado, South Dakota, and more.
