From Copenhagen we took a very scenic, day-long, train ride north to the capital of Norway, Oslo.  We had been to Norway before, briefly, in 1992, and we looked forward to exploring this ruggedly beautiful country in greater depth and with more time.  From Oslo, we planned to head west to explore Norway's famous fjords and then north toward the Artic Circle.
