While in Portugal, it is easy to forget that you are in Europe.  It is slow, inexpensive, less polished, older and more difficult to communicate.  This is why we adored Portugal so much.  Do not get us wrong, we love Europe.  However, Portugal was a nice and refreshing change of pace.

We only had five days to see Portugal, so we focused our visit on the capital port city of Lisbon and the small coastal town of Tavira.
