Meet Jessie Mullins. She is a nurse at the Peachtree Travel
Clinic. Jessie was our overall travel medicine specialist. Jessie
has
over 10 years experience in
travel medicine and immunizations. We had to get several shots (which is
an understatement), and she made it a very pleasant experience. Jessie is
almost as excited about our trip as we are. Another great person at the
travel clinic is Libby. She put up with us when were late for our
appointments...which was most of the time. Sharon is the office manager
and she also was very helpful.
Dr. Joel Rosenstock, M.D., M.P.H. runs the Peachtree Travel Clinic. He is
an infectious disease and tropical medicine specialist. He has extensive
practical experience in the third world. That was all that we needed to
hear to feel that we were in good hands. However, it gets even
better. He is the current President of the Infectious Disease Society of
Georgia and the medical advisor to
CARE.
The
clinic performs a variety of services to accommodate all travelers, including
consultation on preventative measures and behavior necessary for travel.
They also offer a variety of travel merchandise and products which include
travel kits designed to meet specific requirements of each individual. You
can come here to get pre-travel physicals and post-travel follow-up care.
As we have mentioned, they also provide the necessary immunizations that you
will n
eed in
your travels to many parts of the world along with your yellow travel health
card to prove that you have had the immunizations. We promise, it won't
hurt!! If you plan to travel abroad, we highly recommend that you contact
the Peachtree travel clinic. You can call them at (404)351-8873 or
send an e-mail at [email protected].
Tell them Kelly and Rich sent you!!!
