We will be meeting many people along our journey around the planet.  We would like for you all to meet these new friends as well.  

Our very first friend that we made on our trip was Jesus Nappanca.  He was our Spanish teacher in Cusco, Peru.

We met Mike and Linda Frender while hiking the Inca Trail.  This energetic couple from San Francisco, California is also taking 16 months off from life as they know it to travel around the world.

We met Mario Villegas while at a crossroads in the middle of nowhere in Costa Rica waiting for our bus to Monte Verde.  He brought us to his hotel, and introduced us to his family.

Winnie and her family made us feel at home in their cottage up on Penang Hill, Malaysia.

We sailed down the Nile in Egypt with Captain Abdula Mohammed on his Felucca, The Copenhagen.

Speaking of Copenhagen, while visiting the Danish city of Copenhagen, we met our next guest, Hans who lives in the experimental city of Christiania.

We became good friends with Pius, a Maasai tribe Junior Elder in the Maasai Mara in Kenya, Africa.  Meet him and learn about the Maasai tribe.
